So is Super Smash Bros. Brawl all polished & shiny or more a rough type of gem?

Let’s shine a light on the subject for you.

Who doesn’t enjoy a good sports game once in a while? They’re great for kicking back with your mates for a head to head game, and even better for racking up some achievement points. Ever since next-generation consoles have launched, the visuals and gameplay get better year after year, setting an even higher bar for themselves. The Top Spin series is a fantastic example of this, hitting the bar every time.

2K Games’ Top Spin 3 is set to be the “Most Realistic Tennis Simulation to date”, which it will definitely have to be in order the raise the bar even higher than its predecessor did. Review

The Narnia book series has proven to be amazingly successful over the years and more recently, has been turned into a huge chain of blockbuster movies. Prince Caspian has recently launched in cinemas, taking the world by storm making itself $56.6 million in its first weekend. But of course with every huge movie these days, there is indeed a video game following behind it. Will the game live up to the fantastic storytelling we’ve seen in the movie?

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian follows the story from C S Lewis’ second book in the series. The story bridges a huge gap in Narnia history, coming back nearly 1,200 years later where Narnia has been taken over by Telemarines. Narnia is certainly not a nice place to be anymore, with all of the friendly talking animals being driven into the forest, where they have adapted to life and formed a heavy defence against their new enemies. As Prince Caspian you play through the story seeking revenge after a certain chain of events.

As with most new gaming releases today, a limited edition is normally on the cards. So it is with Spore, as EA have today announced the Galactic Edition of the game:

“This special box will contain the ‘Making of Spore’ DVD, ‘The Art of Spore’ hardback mini-book, a fold-out Spore poster, and a premium 100-page Galactic Handbook. The Galactic Edition will also feature a DVD documentary from the National Geographic Channel called “How to Build a Better Being”.”

Retailing at £5.00 more than the regular edition at £44.99, for the collectors out there it maybe worth forgoing that £5.00 from the Spore CC reimbursement & pick up the Galactic Edition.
