MMO trials: sickness delays
Time sensitive trials, like the 21 day EVE Online one I began 4 days ago, don’t have a pause feature. Which is a shame really, as real life likes to butt in just when you think your plans are watertight.
For the past 2 days, the ‘flu bug has hit taking my wife hostage & with that it has put temporary end to my coverage of EVE Online. But do not fear, I will be back in the trial, probably later today & will have a new post up by the latest of Monday afternoon.
Some positivity has come from the last couple of days, in that I have secured a review of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 on the Wii console for the game site I freelance for, Ripten.com. I will be hoping to have a review up on the site by the end of the week & will be sure to link it here once it’s up.

Sorry to hear that you’re under the weather mate. I hear you loud and clear on the pause feature. That would be a blessing and would only benefit both the publisher and player.
Hope that you’ll get well soon!

Well CK, I am fine but my wife is still home with the ‘flu. I managed some EO time yesterday & will be posting about that later today.
I feel if your given a trial of 21 days in a game then you should ideally be given 21×24hrs of game play before your trial is up. 504 hrs in EO would give the player a great view of the game before they committed to a sub’.
