Sweet Flag feed…a little oversight

Reading the Official Google Reader Blog today I have noticed that there is no obvious way for you the reader to add yourself to the Sweet Flag feed from the front page!

This is a bad oversight which hasn’t stopped 16 of you to add Sweet Flag into your feed s but…hang on…how do I know there’s 16 subscribed to my feed?

OK lets go back to the Official Google Reader Blog post I was reading, One more step. Third paragraph down is titled Subscriber counts & it highlights a feature I missed(maybe you have too…) which is the ’show details’ link in the top right hand corner of each feed you have subscribed too. When clicked to show details it will highlight how many subscribers that feed has & you can check your own blogs subscription rate.

Back to Sweet Flag & its feed. I have now added a link in the sidebar with which you can add yourself to the feed & not miss any of the new posts that just recently are coming thick & fast! I’ll look at Feedburner too later to which I’ll add a link also.

Blog owners this is especially handy to have on your blog as not all your readers use a feed reader like Google Reader.

I see some of you are lacking a feed link…/nudge

    EWM,

Have you tried adding your blog into a reader like Google Reader? It tells you how many people have added your feed but I don’t think it’s 100% accurate, still worth doing.

How are you reading other blog feeds?

Well have been in touch with the PR company that are dealing with the media for Play.com LIVE & they said that as long as it’s not ‘BBC style’ cameras you are OK to bring small recording devices so am taking a digi dictaphone & camera. I have asked if we pick the passes up from Wembley on the day & what entrance to use etc.

Sure I’ll add you into my blog roll ;)
