Mythos beta here I come
After getting home from work tonight I decide to watch The Simpsons Movie which a colleague lent me. First half was fun & had a good few laughs but it did get a little tiresome over the full 83 mins with me drifting in & out of sleep before the end.
Just before turning in for the night I thought to check my email & Sweet Flag. A fairly funny comment left on a Spore post but not much else new on the blog side of things & so I turned my attention to my email accounts.
SPAM & more SPAM but wait what’s that!? A beta invite! Not since the days of LotRO have I been in a beta & so it seems I am to be back on the horse beta testing something a little different this time. That difference is Mythos.
So what is Mythos?
Simply put, “Mythos is an online, action role-playing experience set in the land of Uld“. It has resemblances to Diablo & I know a number of my fellow bloggers have been involved in the beta process.
I am not yet up to speed on the game so will comment later once I have downloaded the software & run through the game.

Hey Tom!
Have you tried signing up to the official site? I only just got my invite from them & I know they are issuing beta invites currently.
Have you played any other MMORPGs?

I am a total MMORPG CRPG RPG junkie.
I played EverQuest for 3 years, Dark Age of Camelot for 3, and WoW for 4. I still play Diablo II. I still play UO. NWN, NWN2, FATE, Nox, Darkstone, BG 1 and 2, IWD 1 and 2, you get the idea. Way too many to list.
I’m really looking forward to Mythos =)

Ah Diablo…can see you loving Mythos. For me it wasn’t the right game for this moment & I am out of all MMORPGs although I may consider trying rogue class in WoW.
Do you normally blog about your gaming experiences?
