Tabula Rasa…’paused’
Reaching level 10 & nearing the end of the quest lines on the first map Concordia Wilderness in the first month of playing Tabula Rasa has felt unhurried but it does leave me with a little gaming dilemma & a recent review of the games first 25 levels also highlights this:
Things changed, though once I left Wilderness and entered Concordia Divide/Palisades. It almost feels like they rushed the game out after polishing the first map, with intentions of catching up after launch. There were/are issues with control points not triggering correctly, missions with broken steps, and bosses not spawning. A lot of the issues – especially those on Divide…

The review does go on to clarify that the developers are fixing bugs as quickly as they are highlighted but I am not someone who enjoys beta testing a game once it’s been released & find it a little shameful that NCSOFT have left this overlooked. No doubt this was through pressure of financials & seasonal time frames?
So where does that leave my Tabula Rasa gaming?
For now I am waiting on a few possible meet ups with past gamers that I have played with in other MMORPGs starting in TR which will in turn mean more time playing Liber in Concordia Wilderness. Eventually, I hope, trying out some of the Instances there. It looks certain though that December will be Tabula Rasa free with a likely return to playing in January.
Meaning I can give Call of Duty 4 a good run out & maybe even a full review once I receive it this week.
A FPS I hear you ask?
Yes it is but as you may or may not know there are a few twists to that genre in CoD4 that I would like to explore.
