Not NaNoWriMo but NaBloPoMo
I enjoyed the experience of NaNoWriMo this year even though I didn’t keep up the 1500 words required each day for the month of November. It was tough going & looking back I think I began to feel guilty for writing so much rubbish just to get to 10000 words. I’ll brush off Black Canvas in the New Year & do a report on my feelings for it then.
November isn’t just novel writing month, ah no I missed out on the other event for this month which is NaBloPoMo. I really wish I had seen this one first…post every day in November on your blog. Damn! That’s something I could have relished doing & after making a quick sweep over my posts already for the month I see that I have missed a few days anyway, so it will have to keep until next year.
A nice idea for NaBloPoMo is to have a theme to your posts. Brandon at MMO Gaming has done just that with his Tabula Rasa postings. Interestingly he has made his posts into chapters so that he can be involved in both NaBloPoMo & NaNoWriMo, with his intro post here & first chapter here. It looks to be a good insight into the game & well worth a read if you are trying to decide on taking up playing Tabula Rasa or not.

Good on you for giving it a shot. I’ve wanted to have a go at NaNoWriMo for years, but November is always too busy. The customer my employer(s) deal with always have deadlines before Christmas, even though they don’t look at what we give them until usually about March. Lol!
Maybe next year, if my crazy plans come off.

Been busy as all get out… everybody is during November, that’s sort of the point of the whole event.
Anyway gonna be a lot tougher to finish on time this year, but we’ll see. Good on you for giving it a try, but once I saw you got Tabula Rasa, I knew you were sunk.

Tried hard to resist Tabula Rasa & I got it as a little reward to myself for finishing NaNoWriMo…just didn’t work out that way. Yup I was sunk!
