1 month older
I do question why I spend the hours I do blogging.
Most bloggers will ask this question one time or another in the lifetime of their blog. Is it a social networking thing? Is it a ego thing?
Maybe the lines between these become blurred as more time is spent blogging & as the readership of the blog grows.
I began Sweet Flag so that the realities I choose to engross myself in can be captured & recorded. I truly believe we are all of one big reality but we all choose different but sometimes the same, realities to live & die by. The interesting thing is the connections between the differences & how the same realities are experienced by different people…there are plenty of blogs to be read, sure that’s the easy part. Deciding which to keep reading proves more difficult.
I haven’t really achieved anything new in this 1st month of Sweet Flag that I could hold up against my previous blogs or anyone else’s come to think about it. Although I think I may have found the theme that best suits the blog which is one blessing! I really messed around trying out new themes in previous blogs & it made me more confused than anything else about the style I was looking for.
What with it being 1 month old, Sweet Flag has only had a little scratched away from it’s surface. If I want my blog to continue in it’s honesty then there needs to be more scratching at that surface!

Like the theme quite a bit.
Just keep writing, you’ll be fine. Prem starts soon enough also, that’ll give you some ammo.
Toon! Toon!

In the US, no less. It is a very strange thing to be a footie fan in the States!

‘Soccer’ to be the new glamour sport now Beckham is living & playing out there?
I wasn’t worried about finding things to post about because if I felt like that I wouldn’t bother with a blog at all. Sweet Flag is my baby & maybe one day the baby may become an adult.

You’ll know how much your ego is involved when your readership triples in one month and then comes crashing down sometime later… As soon as anything starts to negatively affect traffic, if you’re too wrapped up with things, it’s maddening.
Been there. Done that.

Ah I have experienced a little of this Jesse…deleting the old blog with it’s 200+ hits a day to my current at 15+ hits a day does tend to make you feel a little sad but I knew what to expect!
